Macro Photography

I really enjoyed being able to practice macro photography for the first time this week. I’ve always been fascinated by small details, so macro photography is right up my alley. In theory, this project seemed to be really fun and simple. However, while trying to take some picture I ran into problems. I found that macro photography is no walk in the park. Because of the manual focus and extra zoom, it’s more difficult to get an image that is clear and crisp and detailed. The biggest problem I encountered was my images turning out blurry because my subject would move slightly or my hand would shift when taking the photo.

Even though it wasn’t necessarily easy, I really did enjoy the assignment and ended up with some images I’m pretty proud of.
